Robinson Crusoe - our 2008 Production
Our 2008 production of Robinson Crusoe was witten by John Brooker and featured a host of characters not found in the original tale by Daniel Defoe. It played to 3 packed houses on Friday and Saturday 28th and 29th November and was allegedly enjoyed by most people. As usual it was filled with gags to make the audience laugh and there was plenty of interaction with players and watchers. The scenery was magnificent and the costumes colourful. We were joined by some members of Saffron Walden Music Hall who added expertise to the singing and dancing and the children from Ashdon Primary School provided some delightful dance routines and eager singing.
Thank you to all who took part and helped either during rehearsals or on the days of the performances. The team effort is superb.
